What Should I Choose for a Domain Name?
My #1 rule here is BRANDING CONTINUITY. I like my domain name to MATCH all my social media handles (or most) i.e. @coursenvy. So pick a few brand names, then check if the domain AND social media handles are available at a site like NameCheckr.com
#2 I like domains that consist of a long tail keyword. A long tail keyword is a search term people type into search engines like Google and it consists of 2+ words in a phrase. Such as “how to build a website“… yay, I just used my focus keyword again in this blog post :)
